My UFO and Desert Project - Screenshots
We had the screening of our weekly projects at our new LBS studio yesterday. Was quite exciting, after all it was our last week of UFO project screening.
Project UFO:
Even though the name says UFO we had the freedom to extend it through any mechanical object interaction. I always loved the fun in making a interaction between live character elements and CG objects. So its like a hovering scout ship shooting randomly at two civilians trying to flee from the war zone area. Would be working on making a breakdown for the shot very soon.
Project Desert:
The other screenshot i am about show u guys is my personal project called as Desert. This is still a work in progress shot. My aim here was to make a 'Epic shot' kinda feel to it with a extended camera pull out. The fun part in executing the project was doing camera pullout without using any crane or rig but pulling it out in virtual 3d environment. Its a full CG environment except for good friend Pedro in it who we shot separately in our old studio back parking lot on very lucky sunny day ( its Canada :) !!) and rotoed him back in the shot.
Project Desert screenshot:
Right now i am working on adding the dynamic environment to the shot. Its been going through a lots of lighting and look development treatment.I would soon try to get the video sequence online. If you guys have any suggestions till then just throw them out.

UFO Project: Model
Here is the UFO-work in progress model for the start up.
Its all done by me from concept to modelling in Maya.
Very soon i will be uploading the sneak peak of my UFO Project shot. Its basically a shot where a scout ship
shoots randomly at two civilians running across war zone set in a post apocalyptic tone. Happy the way it seems to progress.
